Here too there are vestiges of post-bottling sulfur that overwhelms the fruit at present. The broad-shouldered flavors are tightly coiled and highly energetic as this really vibrates in the mouth. There is excellent mid-palate density with an almost pungent minerality that adds a sense of lift to the moderately dry, highly complex and seriously long finish. This will definitely require at least 5 years of bottle age to unwind and flesh out but it should be more than worth the wait as the potential here is striking. Recommended.

Well-marked by new oak and a smoky petrol note, this white offers flavors of nut oil, lemon and green apple. Harmonious, this finishes with ample vanilla and baking spice details. Best from 2018 through 2026. 30 cases imported. –BS
