The powerful, extracted palate doles out fleshy blackberry, black cherry, clove, tobacco, licorice and cured meat. Velvety tannins wrap around the bold flavors, providing support and a smooth texture. You’ll also detect the warmth of evident alcohol, which gives it a one-dimensional finish.
