I don't think 2013 reached the level of the 2012, but that's what happens with vintages... The 2013 Albariño de Fefiñanes is the entry-level bottling from the 'bodega', but it is a serious Albariño, bottled in July of the following year. This is one of my favorite straight and fresh Albariños which in the difficult 2013 vintage manages to keep its poise, with freshly cut grass aromas and ripe white fruit. It should develop more complexity with a couple of years in bottle but you might want to drink it in its youth with the freshness of the fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, with good weight of fruit and very balanced acidity. - Luis Gutierrez
