Returning a year after my last tasting, the 2013 Secateurs Chenin Blanc has a slightly subdued nose on first pouring, but it opens with aeration with subtle flor-like tincture lending intrigue, those marzipan and lime-flower scents seeming to have ebbed over the last 12 months. The palate is vibrant and lively with citrus lemon, nectarine and candied orange-peel notes, with a twist of bitter lemon on the finish. Fine. - Jeb Dunnuck
