Mirabelle plums, kirsch and Poire William meld into honey and sweet fruit in a layered, highly expressive Seches. There is plenty of early appeal, yet the 2013 also has enough depth to develop nicely in the cellar for a number of years. This is a lovely showing.

Antonio Galloni's Vinous, August 2015
Pale yellow. Tangy aromas of orange and lemon peel and ginger. Not yet hugely complex in the mouth but boasts sexy sucrosité leavened by lovely inner-mouth tension. Intensely flavored, brisk and long.

An expressive and broad-ranging nose offers up notes of pear, sea water, oyster shell, white peach, citrus and a soft spice nuance. There is good punch to the intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors that culminate in an intense and markedly dry but not especially austere finish that is also admirably well-balanced and persistent. This seductive yet punchy effort should be accessible young if desired yet keep reasonably well.
