Deep ruby color. An unusually high-toned nose demonstrates notes of pomegranate, raspberry and cherry with only minimal soil undertones. There is both good volume and punch to the delicious and detailed middle weight flavors that possess a lovely mouth feel on the ever-so-mildly clipped, austere and less well-balance finish. This is awkward at present and it’s not clear that it’s necessarily going to harmonize. That said, it should at least be good if given a few years of cellaring. 2021+
