The 2013 Chambolle V.V. from Laurent Lignier is a lovely wine that is starting to show very nicely in its youth, offering up a lovely young nose of red and black cherries, plums, cocoa powder, woodsmoke, hints of fresh herbs and a fine base of soil. On the palate the wine is medium-full, bright and tangy, with a fine core, lovely focus and balance, modest tannins and fine emerging complexity on the long finish.
