(89-90) The 2013 Beaune “Teurons” from Domaine Rossignol-Trapet is really quite good, given the vagaries of the hail, and shows quite respectable energy levels. The wine was one hundred percent destemmed in this vintage. The bouquet is quite black fruity, offering up notes of dark berries, cassis, smoke, game, dark soil tones and coffee. On the palate the wine is medium-full, complex and shows quite good depth at the core, with fine-grained tannins and good length and grip on the finish. (Drink between 2019-2040)
