This 1ha parcel of 40-year-old vines is protected from the wind and gets quite a lot of sunshine, which explains the ripe red cherry aromas. Tannins are soft and well-integrated with herbaceous notes and more pretty red fruit characters. It’s medium weight in style but very harmonious. (Drink between 2016-2024)

The wine was one hundred percent destemmed in this vintage. The bouquet is quite black fruity, offering up notes of dark berries, cassis, smoke, game, dark soil tones and coffee. On the palate the wine is medium-full, complex and shows quite good depth at the core, with fine-grained tannins and good length and grip on the finish. (Drink between 2019-2040)
