The excellent 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru la Boudriotte has a more austere, mineral-driven bouquet compared to the domaine's other Chassagne premier crus, a bouquet that is very precise; dandelion and burdock scents emerging with time. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, lovely salinity and a precise finish that is totally convincing. This represents one of the domaine’s best in 2013 – a Chassagne from the top drawer. - Neal Martin

A pretty and high-toned nose is composed mostly by white floral aromas that enjoy additional breadth in the form of pear and white peach scents. Once again there is good volume to the mineral-infused, firm and nicely detailed middle weight plus flavors that possess ample finishing intensity that display notably better complexity and length. This is a relatively powerful example of the appellation and one that should amply reward 6 to 8 years of cellar time.
