The 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeots, whose vines are on the limit with Santenay and now sees a little more new oak compared to previous vintages, has a complex bouquet, more introspective than others with honeysuckle and jasmine scents, wet limestone underneath. The palate is smooth and very elegant in the mouth, the acidity perfectly judged and adorned with hints of white peach and brioche toward the finish. Lovely. - Neal Martin
