On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and nicely reserved in personality, with a rock solid core, outstanding soil signature, fine cut and nascent complexity and a very long, racy and perfectly focused finish. This is a dynamite bottle of Chassagne premier cru!

There is outstanding richness to the full-bodied and generous proportioned flavors that possess admirably good mid-palate concentration before terminating in a powerful, textured, complex and impressively long finale. This is excellent and worth a look.

The palate is rounded in the mouth with notes of orange sorbet and peach. Fortunately, any blowsiness is avoided with a keen thread of acidity that keeps this lovely Les Vergers focused and tensile. This is worth seeking out.- NM
