As in 2012 (and 2014), the only special cuvée from Giraud is the 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape Cuvée les Grenaches de Pierre. It's still a beautiful wine from a difficult vintage that offers perfumed, complex, Burgundian notes of raspberries, dried flowers, wild strawberries and rose petal. Medium ruby-colored, medium-bodied, finesse-driven and exceedingly elegant, it has good concentration, high quality tannins, and a great finish. Drink bottles over the coming 8-10 years or so.

Medium ruby colored, medium-bodied, finesse-driven and exceedingly elegant, it has moderate concentration yet high quality tannin and a great finish.
