The mouth feel of the middle weight flavors is less precise but more seductive than those of the Petits Monts thanks to the abundance of the palate coating dry extract, all wrapped in a balanced and impressively long finish that displays a hint of mocha. 2023+

(WA90-92 points) The 2013 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru les Suchots conveys the vineyard-typical flamboyance on the nose with lush raspberry, crushed strawberry, marmalade and creme de cassis aromas that soar from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, fine acidity and a dense, quite muscular finish. The Les Petits Monts might have a little more grace, although this has the sinew. - Neal Martin
