Olivier Lamy's 2013 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly is showing brilliantly, wafting from the glass with scents of crisp green orchard fruit, clear honey, white flowers and beeswax. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with an incisive spine of acidity, superb concentration and a long, intensely mineral finish. (BH90-92 points) A slightly riper nose features an airy combination of citrus, white orchard fruit and a discreet hint of wood. There is excellent volume to the delicious middle weight flavors that possess a succulent mouth feel along with a fine bead of minerality, all wrapped in a balanced, clean, saline and lingering finish. This textbook effort should be approachable after only a few years of bottle age though reward from 5 to 7 years.
