Structured and with a strongly crisp and textured character, this wine also has a touch of toast from wood aging. Ripe green and yellow fruits are part of the concentration and dense flavors. It is still young, so wait until 2018.

The 2013 Chablis 1er Cru Montmains is aged in third-fill wooden barrels on the lees for nine months. It has a reserved nose that opens up with attractive flint and chalky scents. The palate is fresh and precise with crisp acidity, very impressive harmony and quite a sensual, almost Puligny-like finish that suggests very competent winemaking.
