This is also quite spicy with its broad array of dark currant, plum, lavender, game and sandalwood. There is excellent size, weight and power to the textured and palate coating flavors that possess fine concentration along with impressive depth on the balanced, intense and driving finish. This is a big but not particularly austere example from the Hill of Corton and should be approachable after 6 to 8 years but reward 12 to 15. 2025+

(WA90-92 points) The 2013 Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru has a tightly wound bouquet with blackberry, iodine and cassis scents that gradually unfold in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied and here the oak is nicely integrated with supple tannins and a linear finish that is just missing a little tension at the moment.
