The 2013 Bousselots chez Chevillon is another beautiful bottle of Nuits in the making. The superb bouquet delivers a mélange of red and black cherries, fresh herb tones, gamebird, woodsmoke, lovely soil tones and a deft framing of spicy new wood. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and shows lovely inner tension between the soil and fruit elements, with excellent focus, lovely transparency and a very long, tangy and suavely tannic finish. This will need a year or two more in the cellar than the Chaignots to blossom, but it is another absolutely beautiful young bottle of Burgundy. (Drink between 2020-2050)
