(BH90-92 points) This too displays enough wood to mention but not so much as to fight with the more elegant if less spicy dark berry fruit, earth and vaguely gamy aromas. This is notably rich with fine volume on the medium-bodied flavors that exude an appealing minerality that adds to the sense of vibrancy, particularly on the linear and well-balanced finale. This will need a few years of bottle age as it's presently quite compact though not hard or austere.

The 2013 Bousselots chez Chevillon is another beautiful bottle of Nuits in the making. The superb bouquet delivers a mélange of red and black cherries, fresh herb tones, gamebird, woodsmoke, lovely soil tones and a deft framing of spicy new wood. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and shows lovely inner tension between the soil and fruit elements, with excellent focus, lovely transparency and a very long, tangy and suavely tannic finish. This will need a year or two more in the cellar than the Chaignots to blossom, but it is another absolutely beautiful young bottle of Burgundy. (Drink between 2020-2050)

High-toned aromas of red fruits, mocha and earth, lifted by a floral note. A step up in vinosity and energy from the Chaignots, showing an attractive sugar/acid balance to its juicy purple fruit flavors. Finishes with sweet tannins and good length and floral lift.

The 2013 Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Bousselots has a very crisp and refined bouquet with blackberry, briary and faint, damp earth scents that lend intrigue. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy ripe black fruit, quite structured on the entry but very tight and linear towards the finish at the moment. This felt a little closed down after bottling and needs another couple of years. It is a decent Bousselots from les frères Chevillon, but I suggest that it is not up there with Chevillon's raft of other premier crus. - Neal Martin
