Among these releases from this vintage, the 2013 Barbaresco Pajorè is the darkest and thickest in terms of concentration. This is a full and generous expression with dark fruit nuances of plum and black cherry. The wine shows substantial heft and definition and merits a steady ten-year drinking window as a result. The wine ages in oak for two years, and only 15% of the barrels are new. - Monica Larner
