Dark red stone fruits, wild flowers and spices meld together in a pliant, expressive wine with good potential. Like all of the wines here, the Acte 5 (named for the 5th vintage from this site) is a bit reduced, but it is the wine's resonance and pure texture that are most convincing of all. The blend is 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc.
