Medium garnet colored, the 2013 Les Amis Grenache reveals a gorgeous nose of raspberry preserves, cranberry sauce and kirsch with underlying lavender, fenugreek, cinnamon stick, roses and white pepper hints. Cellar Selection. This rich, opulent wine carries its massive oak load easily, marrying vanilla and toasted coconut notes with ripe plum and black cherry flavors. It's full bodied and plush, with supple tannins supported by the wood. Give it a few years to knit together and drink it 2020–2030.
