Modern and minimalist in its spare, steely build, this is refreshingly direct, with impressive drive. Entirely savory, it hits the palate like a bracing gust of wind, carrying notes of quince and nectarine as it whisks the finish clean. It’s a sophisticated, elegant QbA, to drink with poached mackerel.

Very clear, spicy and invitingly fruity on the nose, the 2013 Riesling Trocken has de facto Spätlese level. Picked with 88° oechsle this Estate wine was fermented mainly in stainless steel but 10% were fermented in a traditional oak vat. Medium-bodied, pure, racy and very clear on the palate this quite rich, intense, juicy, lovely piquant and stimulating Riesling offers lingering flavors of mangoes and nectarines.
