Perhaps the best Tapestry ever made with currant, chocolate and berry aromas and flavors. Full body, layered and rich with a wonderful depth and generosity yet always focused and poised. Better in 2019 but already delicious.

Blended of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Merlot with dollops of Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, the 2014 Reserve Tapestry Proprietary Red Wine opens with crème de cassis and blackberry tart notes over hints of menthol, incense and Christmas cake, plus a waft of dark chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is flamboyant, rich, velvety and seductive, with a lively lift in the mid-palate and a long, spicy finish. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown

Succulent red cherry and plum fruit are pushed forward. The blending varieties add suppleness and mid-palate softness. Although not that different from the other wines, the 2015 is nicely done. -- Antonio Galloni
