Dense, sappy and fine-grained, offering lovely inner-mouth tension to its stone fruit, spice and mineral flavors. Intense, soil-driven wine with a very subtle, slowly building finish. This is a beautiful village Puligny from the exciting 2014 vintage and there’s a lot like. The energetic nose boasts notes of Meyer lemon, tangerine, baked baguette, wet slate and just a hint of French oak. On the palate, this has plenty of bright fruit and vibrant acidity, with a freshness that indicates this should age nicely in the short term. The more air the better as this continued to open with time. Finishes long and pleasant. Drink now through 2022.
