(90-91 points) (just fined; the first of these 2014s that was still in tank in December; 50% vendange entier; 20% new oak): Good medium red. Ripe aromas of raspberry, minerals, coffee and mocha. Plush, sweet and concentrated, showing good energy to the fruit-driven flavors of raspberry, cherry and chocolate. A dense, lightly saline fruit bomb with lovely length. The pH of this elegantly styled Corton grand cru is 3. 9, with 3. 2 grams per liter acidity. The production here was 30 hectoliters per hectare, which Claude de Nicolay described as a normal crop.
