The product of a late, cool vintage ended by rain, the 2014 L'Ancely Coteaux du Languedoc la Clape still shows a bit of oak (it was aged in demi-muids), but those cedar and vanilla notes complement the raspberry and strawberry fruit. Medium to full-bodied, this is supple and peppery on the long finish. Drink it now and over the next decade or so.- JC
