Pale to medium ruby in color, the whole cluster component stands out a little bit more on the nose of the 2014 Pinot Noir Marjorie Vineyard at this youthful stage, hovering over a core of ripe red cherries, red currant and rhubarb with hints of damp earth, moss and sage, plus a waft of flowers. Medium-bodied, the palate is packed with intense red berry and earth flavors layered with a firm strap of finely-grained tannins and a racy acid line, finishing long with some alluring spices coming through.
