A very pretty texture to this wine with cream and dried apples in addition to hints of lemons and limes. A medium to full body and soft yet bright acidity. Love this fabulous wine. Don't miss it.

Polished and refined, with gorgeous pear and grapefruit flavors framed with hints of spice and caramel on the finish, lingering gently. Drink now through 2020. 2,065 cases made. –HS

Roserock is the new vineyard project of the Drouhin family in Oregon, with 2014 being the first vintage released from the estate. The vineyard is planted on volcanic soils and is one of the cooler terroirs that the family works with in Oregon. The 2014 Roserock chardonnay offers up a pretty and quite floral bouquet of pear, gentle leesy tones, white lilies, fresh almond and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, crisp and focused, with a lovely core of fruit, bright acids and excellent bounce and grip on the long and very well-balanced finish. This is still quite a young wine and will blossom nicely with a bit of bottle age. Though this is the first vintage, the wine looks likely to age very gracefully. (Drink between 2016-2025)

Potent, mineral-laced aromas of orange pith, pear nectar, nectarine and white flowers, plus a subtle ginger flourish. Juicy and energetic on the palate, offering intense orchard and citrus fruit and honeysuckle flavors complemented by a refreshingly bitter quinine note. Finishes with very good clarity and minerally thrust, leaving floral and marmalade notes behind. -Josh Raynolds
