Deep ruby color. Once again there are prominent, but not dominant, notes of wood toast and menthol sitting atop the very ripe yet fresh and cool aromas of spicy and earthy black cherry liqueur-like nose. There is terrific punch and volume to the solidly well-concentrated medium weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality onto the palate coating, powerful and intense finish that remains impressively refined.
