This vintage is a little flatter than most, but this should come as no surprise given the challenges of the growing season. The pedigree of the winemaking is evident, nonetheless, with seamless integration and a wide array of dark fruit and toasted aromas that evoke the rugged personality of this unique Terra di Lavoro, or "land of labor." - Monica Larner collapse

Winery

Fattoria Galardi

Galardi is a family-owned estate formed by four cousins in 1991. The territory covers a volcanic soil of great potential sloping down to the sea. With the family’s commitment to the transformation of the vineyard and cellar practices, the estate produced its first fruit with the harvest of 1993. The result is a wine that, despite its youth, was already showing on its debut all the expressive potential of a great wine. 1994 marks the definitive birth of “Terra di Lavoro".
