The wood treatment is more subtle though it's by no means invisible on the spicy liqueur-like dark berry fruit aromas that display hints of anise and tea. There is a bit more volume to the delicious and mineral-driven middle weight flavors that possess a highly seductive and reasonably refined palate impression, all wrapped in a dusty and mildly austere finale. This isn't quite as elegant as the Feusselottes but it's both more complex and persistent as well as slightly more structured.
