The 2014 G Acte 6 showed extremely well when I tasted it from barrel. Now in bottle, it has a compelling bouquet with cranberry, potpourri and light incense aromas, just a hint of bell pepper emanating from the Cabernet Franc. The palate is medium-bodied with with firm tannin, superb salinity, fine focus and real precision on the (still) slightly chalky finish. This is well worth hunting down. Baptiste Guinaudeau told me that it is the first "Acte" that he is proud of, and I can understand why. -Neal Martin
