(JS94-95 points) This is really amazing. Superb concentration of fruit and velvety tannins. Such polish and sexiness. Wow.

(JL91-94 points) Fat, lush, juicy and fresh with polished, sweet, ripe fruits, length and freshness, this is the best vintage of Angelots de Gracia I've ever tasted. Made from a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.

From a tiny 1.26-hectare estate situated between Angélus and Fonrazade, owned by Michel Gracia, the 2015 Les Angelots de Gracia is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, from more sandy soils, brought up in 100% new oak. It’s an amazingly rich, sexy, opulent Saint-Emilion that shows the character of the vintage beautifully. Giving up lots of ripe black fruits, toasted spices, chocolatey oak and earthy tobacco, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness, building, sweet tannin, moderate acidity, and a power-packed finish. It has loads of fruit and texture, yet still has underlying density and structure. Made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, give bottle 2-3 years in the cellar, count yourself lucky, and enjoy over the following 15+.

(WA90-92 points) The 2015 Les Angelots de Gracia is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. It has a dense, powerful, black cherry and crème de cassis bouquet with violets scents developing in the glass. The palate is dense and powerful like the nose, however, just when you think it will fall into the trap of being the proverbial "blockbuster," it pulls everything back in and actually finishes with finesse and plenty of freshness. Give this 4-5 years in bottle and you should have a fine Saint Émilion. I would just like the aromatics to calm down and gain more composure. - Neal Martin
