A more subtle offering from Parusso, the 2015 Barolo Mosconi shows more softness and fiber than the other crus, but it has that same ripe fruit and somewhat familiar note of sour cherry. Again, the idea behind this wine is elegance and a more understated approach to those raw and ripe fruit notes. These are wines that can either evolve over the next two decades or be opened in the short term, and with this delicate creation I'd recommend a platter of mild cheeses and charcuterie.- ML
