There is an attractive reduction in this wine that underlines the flint stone aromas and gives a very nice focus. Full-bodied, round and elegant, with a firmly mineral acidity and lingering salinity this is an excellent Jesuitengarten although it could have been even more precise and stimulating without the sweetish, all too charming coda. - Stephan Reinhardt

The ripe-pear nose is very enticing, and although this is a substantial and juicy dry riesling, the mineral touch on the finish lifts the full body, and the elegant acidity gives it some polish.
