The Beau-Sejour Becot vineyard is situated on the western plateau of Saint-Emilion, in the old parish of Saint-Martin de Mazerat. The estate covers 18.5 hectares of which 16.52 hectares are planted with Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (24%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (6%) on chalky soil with fossilized starfish. The average age of the vines is 40 years old and the fruit is harvested by hand.

This wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in 80-100% new barrels depending on the vintage. It then ages in the cellar for 16 to 18 months at constant temperature of 16 degrees Celsius. Annual production is approximately 60,000 bottles.

Introducing the 2015 Beau-Sejour-Becot, a Bordeaux Blend from the esteemed region of Bordeaux, France. This wine is a masterpiece, clearly the best ever produced at Beau-Sejour-Becot. The bouquet is a symphony of flowers, licorice, smoke, black and red plums, dark cherry, espresso, and forest aromatics. It is a sensory delight that sets the stage for what's to come.

Once this wine hits your palate, it truly takes off. The sensuous textures and silky tannins create an elegant and refined mouthfeel. The concentrated layer of perfectly ripe, sweet, and fresh fruits envelops your taste buds, leaving a lasting impression. As the wine lingers on your palate, the flavors expand, revealing additional complexities and nuances. The presence of crushed stone adds a touch of minerality, enhancing the overall experience.
