Oz Clarke: This is quite nice with round, mellow plum flesh fruit, some sap, bitter bark and a little dough. Not bad. Sarah Jane Evans MW: This is the essence of savouriness. It has a firm rasp of tannin, autumnal fruits, a dense concentrated palate and very long finish. Tina Gelli: This is nice and savoury with a depth of ripe, tart and fresh black cherry fruit. There’s some earthy notes and a linear acidity that benefits from some air. Recommended by Michael Hill Smith MW
