The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape L'Avenue comes from another single parcel close to the estate and is 100% Grenache raised all in demi-muids. It has a juicy, fresh, lively style to go with notes of strawberries, mint, sappy green herbs and flowers. It has fine, polished tannin, full-bodied richness and the same weightless, elegant style present in all these wines.

Continuing to drink well, with no sign of closing down, the 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape l'Avenue boasts expressive aromas of flowering garrigue and ripe black cherries. Full-bodied, silky and long, with touches of dark chocolate and licorice on the finish, it's a terrific CdP and should drink well for at least another decade. Tasted at the estate. - Joe Czerwinski
