A wine to look out for, harnessing the expertise of the Lafleur team. The vines are on the borders of Saillans village in Fronsac, planted on clay limestone soils. The overall feel is beautifully juicy and fresh, marked by redcurrant notes, florality and blonde tobacco that is often brought out in Cabernet Franc on the right bank. This has real freshness, even in such a hot and dry year, with a flourish of minerality on the finish. 25% new oak.
