(JS95-96 points) This is massive with so much ripe fruit and velvety tannins, yet it manages to remain fresh and balanced. Full body, round texture and a long finish. Best ever from here.

(JL93-95 points) Silky and long with truffles, black cherry, soft, polished tannins and a refined, elegant, silky, chocolate and ripe, sweet, juicy plum finish. Yes, I like this wine.

(WA92-94 points) The 2015 Clos du Clocher is a blend of 81% Merlot and 19% Cabernet Franc that was matured in 65% new oak (15% 'vinification intégrale'). It has an intense bouquet with generous, vivacious dark cherry, cassis and black truffle aromas that do not hold back from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with silky smooth tannin, very nicely poised, quite weighty in the mouth with fine backbone on the finish, suggesting that this Clos du Clocher is a long-term contender. - Neal Martin

It’s another impressive wine from the consulting team of Michel Rolland. Black fruits, scorched earth, chocolate, and earth nuances are followed by a full-bodied, concentrated, opulent 2015 that has moderate acidity and enough background oak to warrant short-term cellaring.
