A relatively new cuvée, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon RLC comes from the deeper soils on the estate vineyard, and these grapes went into the appellation blend in the past. The deep ruby/purple-hued effort is another upfront, ripe, incredibly sexy and satisfying Cabernet that has lots of darker fruits, dried herbs, and spice-laced aromas and flavors. Medium to full-bodied, charming, with sweet tannins and loads of upfront appeal, drink this while you wait on the Stone Place release.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon RLC is composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged 20 months in 60% new French oak. Deep garnet-purple colored, it sings of crushed black cherries, mulberries and cassis with lovely lilacs and cedar notions plus wafts of spearmint and milk chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, firm and grainy, with oodles of crunchy fruit, it has a long, fragrant, earthy finish. 400 cases produced.- LPB
