(90-92 points) The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny Village, from the usual 11 parcels, has a tightly controlled red cherry and crushed strawberry bouquet with veins of dried rose petal. The palate is crisp on the entry with grainy tannin, beautifully balanced with a poised, winsome finish and a saline aftertaste. It eschews the usual heaviness that can pervade Chambolle premier crus this vintage with a sense of precision. This comes recommended. - Neal Martin

90+ The 2015 Hudelot Chambolle villages is really refined and sappy this year and is the kind of wine that every Chambolle lover should seek out! The bouquet is pure and utterly enchanting, offering up a sappy blend of red and black cherries, raw cocoa, lovely, chalky soil tones, gentle smokiness, floral tones and a whisper of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and shows excellent backend mineral drive, with a sappy core of fruit, modest tannins, tangy acids and impressive focus and grip on the long finish. This will be drinkable upon release, but I would opt for giving it a few years in the cellar to allow the secondary layers to blossom.
