The 2015 Chablis Bas de Chapelot was bottled the end of April. It has a well-defined, quite chalky bouquet with touches of lemon curd and lemon thyme. The palate is well balanced with a soft opening and slightly lower acidity than the 2014s, as you would expect, but with a poised and generous, creamy-textured finish. There is something classy about this Chablis, although I would like to see a little more complexity manifest in bottle. - NM
