(WA89-91 points) The 2015 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Chaumes has a bright, slightly earthy bouquet, one that perhaps needs a little more cohesion to develop by the time of bottling. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly grainy textured entry. The acidity is nicely judged with nicely poised red berry fruit, so open on the finish that you could quite happily take away a bottle and drink it now.
