(89-91) (these vines face full east; more calcaire here; 30% vendange entier): Good dark red-ruby. Pungent, slightly high-toned aromas of black cherry, stony minerality and leather. Concentrated, broad and smooth, conveying a sexy soil-driven rusticity to the flavors of black cherry and flowers. This seriously rich Marsannay finishes surprisingly suave and detailed, thanks in part to the whole-cluster influence.
