The 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Le Pied de Baud, a blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault, offers compelling scents of rose petals and raspberries on the nose. While not as richly textural as some of the other cuvées, it's still a lovely, hauntingly fragrant example of Châteauneuf du Pape. -Joe Czerwinski

The 2015 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Pied de Baud is cut from the same cloth, offering lots of floral aromatics intermixed with kirsch, spice, bay leaf and mint. This medium to full-bodied, fresh, elegant 2015 is another outstanding wine from this team that will drink nicely for 10-15 years.

Full bodied, soft, silky and polished in texture, with a juicy center of fruit. Kirsch, cherry and wild strawberry all blend together with a melange of cracked peppers, rocks and a judicious hint of thyme in the cherry filled, end note.
