It's a blend of Grenache, Mourvèdre and Counoise. -Joe Czerwinski

Ripe, spice-accented blackberry, cherry and succulent herbs on the expansive nose. Intense red and dark berry preserve and spicecake flavors are lifted and sharpened by smoky minerality and pick up a peppery quality with aeration. Concentrated as well as energetic, finishing with impressive persistence, supple tannins and lingering notes of candied lavender and white pepper. - Josh Raynolds

This has a supple and succulent feel with ripe tannins. The nose has dried red flowers and really speaks to the grenache in a mellow mode. Fluid, gently grainy tannins and a silky, chalky finish. Drink now.

The wine seemed tight at the moment, it's quite possible this could morph into a much better wine, with a few years in the cellar. Strawberries, plums, mint, and incense notes all flow to a medium to full-bodied, ripe, pretty 2015 that has good acidity. Given its balance and purity, it’s going to drink nicely for 10-15 years.
