(89-92) An exuberantly fresh nose offers notes of red cherry and currant that are liberally laced with earth, spice and oak hints. There is once again good vibrancy to the generously proportioned and fleshy medium-bodied flavors that display a mild touch of rusticity on the balanced finish. Overall this is finer than the En Champs but doesn't necessarily offer any better quality despite its 1er status.
