(92+ points) Planted entirely with clone 777, this vintage of the single vineyard Gap's Crown was aged for 11 months in French oak, 40% of which was new. Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Gap's Crown Vineyard delivers notes of crushed mulberries and blackberries with hints of dried Provence herbs, forest floor and cedar. Medium to full-bodied, it is more of the structured style with firm grainy tannins and plenty of freshness supporting the taut fruit. It should cellar nicely for 7 to 10 years.- LPB
