(91-94) This is aromatically quite similar to the Epenots but with just a touch more overall complexity. The broad-shouldered flavors are even bigger and more concentrated with a highly beguiling velvety texture that also contrasts markedly with the serious and impressively powerful finish. This borderline rustic and robust effort is absolutely going to require extended patience and I wouldn't buy it if you don't intend to cellar it for at least a decade.

(17/20) Tank sample. Bright garnet. Intense nose. Rather heady. Transparent and even a little soft for the appellation. Though the slightly grating tannins creep up on the finish. Pretty powerful on the end. Great peacock’s tail finish.
