Extremely complex aromas of wet earth, mushrooms and blackberries. Medium to full body, gorgeous, velvety tannins and a dense mouthfeel. Very Compacted and long. A clearly outstanding young wine. Drink now or hold.

The palate is very well balanced, mellow and approachable, though with sufficient tannic backbone. This is taut and fresh, delivering just the right amount of mineralité on the finish. Bon vin! I like the conviction that this Chambolle demonstrates. The palate is structured with crunchy tannin, Morey-like in style with a precise and quite persistent finish that bodes well for the future. One to watch out for once in bottle, because it possesses the backbone that should see it age nicely.- NM collapse

Decanter,
Very elegant, lifted floral nose of classic Chambolle red fruits. Silky attack on the pure and precise palate, with a lacy quality that's intense and piquant. Silky attack on the pure and precise palate, with a lacy quality that's intense and piquant. Nonetheless, there is ample tannin and fine weight of fruit. The finish is atypically muscular, but it still exhibits drive and finesse.
